For over three decades, I’ve dedicated my career to mechanical engineering within the MEP consulting industry. From early beginnings as a young engineer to becoming the owner of my own consulting firm, I’ve had the privilege of shaping projects that bring together design, coordination, and technical precision. My work has spanned everything from complex building systems to large-scale facilities, always focusing on the hidden infrastructure that makes modern spaces functional and efficient. Running my own business has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey. It has allowed me to pair engineering expertise with leadership, client relationships, and the entrepreneurial drive needed to grow and sustain a consulting practice. Guiding projects from concept to completion, while mentoring the next generation of engineers, has not only sharpened my technical skills but also taught me the value of adaptability, vision, and persistence. In recent years, I’ve discovered a new passion—one that builds on the same foundations of craftsmanship, science, and problem-solving that have defined my engineering career: the manufacturing of rum and other spirits. What began as curiosity has grown into a genuine pursuit of understanding distillation, fermentation, and the artistry behind producing high-quality spirits. I see strong parallels between engineering and distilling—both demand precision, creativity, and an eye for continuous improvement. As I explore this new venture, I am approaching it with the mindset of both an engineer and an entrepreneur. My goal is not only to master the craft, but also to build something lasting—a business rooted in tradition, innovation, and quality. Just as my consulting firm was built on a foundation of expertise and client trust, I envision a spirits brand that reflects the same values: attention to detail, respect for process, and a commitment to delivering excellence. For me, this is more than a hobby or side interest—it’s the next chapter of my entrepreneurial journey. Combining decades of technical knowledge with a fresh passion for distilling, I’m excited to take the leap from designing systems that shape environments to creating spirits that bring people together.

For more than four decades, my career has been defined by building, refining, and creating. It began in the world of construction, where I developed a deep respect for craftsmanship, precision, and the value of hard work. Those early years instilled in me the discipline and problem-solving skills that would shape everything to come.

From construction, I transitioned into engineering processes for pharmaceutical manufacturing, where innovation, detail, and quality standards became second nature. This stage of my career honed my ability to understand complex systems and ensure that every process—no matter how technical—operated flawlessly.

Eventually, my journey took a more personal and creative turn with the opening of a "make your own wine" shop. Here, I combined technical knowledge with creativity and community. Guiding others in crafting their own wines showed me how much joy can be found in sharing both process and product with people who are passionate about flavor, experience, and good company.

Now, all of these experiences have culminated in my greatest endeavor: opening a craft distillery. It is here that my background in building, engineering, and creativity comes together in pursuit of a singular goal—creating the best distilled spirits possible. Tailored, thoughtful, and carefully designed, these spirits embody both my dedication to craft and my love of sharing great moments with fun, inspiring people.

This new chapter is not just about distilling spirits—it’s about distilling decades of knowledge, creativity, and passion into something lasting, authentic, and unforgettable.
